Hey Tweeners, It's time, once again, to vote for our favorite show in the 2009 Airlock Alpha Portal Awards. You can vote for all your other favorites also. Best Movie, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best TV Series, etc., etc., etc. Head's Up! They said that ballots that are less than 75% completed will be thrown out this year. If you only vote in one category, your vote won't count! It's a lot of work to vote every day for 30 days, but it's worth it. There's no better way, right now, of showing our appreciation and our love to everyone who made The House Between possible. Click right here to access the ballot for voting. Bookmark the page and visit every day until July 25th to cast your votes for all your favorites. You will receive a confirmation email from Airlock Alpha, click on the link in the email and once your email address has been confirmed the first time, you don't need to confirm again. ***I seem to remember that someone had a problem with not receiving a confirmation email last year. If you don't immediately receive your confirmation email after your first vote, send an email to nchase@airlockalpha.com (Nick Chase) and ask him to manually add your email address to the approved list.*** Enlist the help of everyone you know, family and friends. Let's all pull together to make this happen! Thank you and good luck to The House Between!

Well, voting was supposed to be over on July 25, but as of two minutes ago, it still took mine. There isn't any official notice on their site as to whether late votes will count, but the page is up and the confirmations are emailing, so until that stops working, I say stuff the box! ;D

Hey! The ballot link was shut down several days ago on the Airlock Alpha Home Page here . It now reads, "ballots being counted" and it doesn't link to the actual ballot. The same thing happened last year, where the ballot link was available way past the voting cutoff. I was upset because I had stopped voting after the 25th. With the final vote numbers so close, I asked Michael Hinman about it. He said that any votes submitted after the 25th cutoff date were discarded. After his explanation I felt much better Frankly, I was surprised that they would still have so many bugs to work out after hosting the awards for so long. But it seems they have attempted to rectify that hang up by changing the link on their homepage more quickly this year.
