We are shooting for a February 16th release date. Can anyone guess why that particular date? The soundtrack will be released by SOIL, the recording arm of Powys Media, in conjunction with CD Baby and later via iTunes and Amazon.mp3.
The artwork is all done. I just need to put the disc playlist together--as it will contain MP3s, all the tracks need to have numeric prefixes added to them. Doing that now.

The soundtrack is now on its way to be converted to MP3 and have each track assigned an ID tag--something I don't know how to do. The ID tags tell the MP3 player the sequence of the tracks so that they play in the right order.
That work will be done by the first week of April, then it will be sent to CD Baby for manufacture. I know, another delay, but Powys Media (at which I am publisher) has will have released 4 books and and audiobook in the first three months of 2010. Add this soundtrack and that is six major releases in 90 days!
This is the endgame now.

I ordered mine today! I have to say the waiting has seemed interminable... Thank you, Mateo and Cesar, for all your hard work and dedication to this project. Now, JKM, when will we get the DVD's?

Hi, Faninawe!
I'm excited about the soundtrack too, and grateful to Mateo and Cesar for all their hard work.
Speaking of hard work -- the DVDs are next in my queue after I finish my second book deadline this year. What's making it more difficult, and time-consuming, is that I have to re-edit the entire series to make it "viewable," essentially on larger video platforms (TVs as opposed to YouTube or Veoh). And, since i've learned a lot about sound and editing since the first season, a re-edit was definitely in order.
What this means, likely, is a staggered release. First Season One, then Season Two, then Season Three, as I finish each. Also, I want to make sure the extras look good. I've already edited one of the extras for Season One, the first ever walk-through (in color) of The House At The End of the Universe.
I've also edited some of "Arrived" and "Settled" already, but there's a long way to go!
Updates forthcoming...
best, JKM
