You have reminded us that if there are 5 down that means there are only 3 more to go. Then, that horrible dry spell, again! The interminable wait for the magic to happen and The House Between to return to us.

The interminable wait for the magic to happen and The House Between to return to us. I had a great idea that I suggested to Lee when he posted on the boards at SyFy Portal. I figured they ought to just make episodes non-stop! Lee decided I should have a considerably shortened life-span.

I figured they ought to just make episodes non-stop! Lee decided I should have a considerably shortened life-span. Oh, so you are "Lefty" over at SyFy Portal. I suggested something very similar to John on this Board. I said something like, he should try filming one episode a weekend for 20 weekends. I like your idea of filming non-stop even better. John is the one who said he wished he could talk the cast into filming 20 episodes a year. So, since he was already in favor of more episodes, he didn't threaten to kill me. ;D Hard to get the actors from VA down to NC to do the work, though. I have read all the posts at the SyFy Portal Board. I was very impressed with the chat. It was insightful and humorous. Glad you found us over here. I'm glad that the fans over there finally got Lee talking. He has been very silent for two seasons. Neither Lee nor Tony have interviews posted at www.thehousebetween.com . I have been meaning to post a couple of questions to Mr. Crabtree. Guess I will have to get busy and just do it. The "Planet of the Apes" exchange with Lee has been very amusing. I see he hasn't responded yet to your last post regarding the beach and the loin cloth. Can't wait to see what he has to say. ;D

Yep, I'm "Lefty" over at SyFy Portal. I should've used that here, but I've gotten out of the habit of trying that nickname since it's usually already taken. (I guess there's just a lot of us left-handers around) "Thogar" is actually an amalgam of my real name that I saw one day on my paycheck. The accounting program my company uses makes up an employee ID out of first and last names, so when I saw it I thought it would make a good nick...or at least a good name for some Viking librarian.
I need to check and see if I can possibly change it here as I'd prefer to use "Lefty" since it's a nick I've been using since 2400 baud dial-up modems were the new technology!
Lee has responded and I've re-responded over at the other place. He's gotten really chatty with the fans, something I'm very grateful for, and I can see how the others involved with THB find him to be a funny guy. Unlike Travis Crabtree, Lee Hansen seems like the kind of guy everyone would want to be friends with...but don't ever accept an offer to pull his finger. ;D

Well, I can't change my name, so I applied the same avatar to both. Not that it's an issue, just something to do on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

I went into my profile and I think you can change your name, at least change your display name. After you have logged in, click on your name, Thogar. Then, click on Modify Profile. Under the heading, Account Information, there is a place where you can change your "Display Name": the explanation says "This is how your name will be displayed to other people on this forum". So, you would still login using Thogar, but now you will show up in all posts as "Lefty". Give it a try.

You're a genius!!! I went to the modify profile section, but I didn't really look past my username and seeing as how it was un-editable, I just resigned myself to keeping the name I registered with. Thanks for having the ability to read, think, and all those other things I obviously cannot do.

Thanks for having the ability to read, think, and all those other things I obviously cannot do. Not even! Just thank the software developers and the programmers for having the ability to think. They actually added an ability to the program that might be needed at some point! Awesome! Welcome, Lefty!!! ;D
