Since I only recently discovered you fantastic show, this is really the first time I've had to wait for an episode in "real time" and let me tell you the wait is killing me. I plan on watching this tonight, or at the latest, tomorrow evening. I will definitely give feedback about this episode, but after reading the director's notes on your blog, I'm liking it already.

The fans nearly went crazy waiting for Season one to begin and the wait for Season two nearly pushed us over the edge! Season one episodes only came about every two weeks. Then, a year's wait for Season two. You will get a taste of the frustration waiting for Season three! The only good thing about the wait was that John took pity on us and posted photos, background information and even a serial short story to keep us going! I hope we didn't put too much pressure on him. We apologize if we did, John. Since you left us hanging on the short story, will we be getting more installments while we are waiting for Season three to begin? Please say yes, please, please, please..... ;D

*Spoilers* This episode blew me away. The House didn't choose Theresa? I was reminded of something Astrid said to Theresa in Season One "Settled". " Didn't see that coming, did you?" Vitality is in trouble. Did she run to her Mother? Or, does she think Astrid is better equipped to battle the demons in the dark? This leaves Theresa devastated after having given up her entire childhood in training for this one moment. I wonder if Bill is partly responsible that the House didn't choose Theresa? Father expressed his distrust of Theresa's motives. Vitality chose to take away the one person who would cause all the other denizens the greatest feelings of pain and loss. I am really looking forward to seeing "Ruined" on Friday to find out what happens to Astrid. But, sad. Because it will be the end of Season two. Also, with trepidation because of what has been said. JKM wrote: " So “Caged” leaves us at the cusp of our gut-wrenching, destructive, take-your-breath away season finale, “Ruined.” Kim Breeding wrote in response to her interview question, 15. Finally, what episode are you most looking forward to in the second season in terms of Astrid's development as a character?" If I'm not getting my days mixed up, since we shot out of order this year, "Ruined" is the episode that pushes Astrid to her breaking point, forcing her to look into some very dark places and make some heartbreaking choices. It was the very last set of scenes we filmed, and we were all pretty raw in real life already, so I hope what I was able to give the camera will be as difficult to watch as it was to perform." Kim, your acting has been extraordinary. I think everyone has bonded with Astrid (as we have with all the characters) and we all feel her pain. We want to console her and, at the same time, hope we can duck her right cross.

Thanks for that - Astrid has had a rough go this season and it was a challenge to have her start to open up and care about people while still maintaining her street cred. ;D
But just you wait, you ain't seen nothing yet...I really hope I pulled it off...
