SyFy Portal is now Airlock Alpha

SyFy Portal has been good to, and good for JKM and The House Between so I thought it would be appropriate to post their news here.

SyFy Portal has been completely rebranded and redesigned. It will henceforth be known as Airlock Alpha.

I loved the SyFy Portal name. Airlock Alpha not so much. Maybe I just need time to get used to it.

I noticed on the Airlock Alpha homepage that the genre awards logo was missing.

I posed the question of whether or not they would be back in 2009. I asked because I know that one or more episodes of The House Between will surely be making the short list this year.

This was Michael Hinman's reply, "Not only will they be back, but we are going to give readers a chance to help us come up with a new name for them.

If it works the way it did last year, anyone can email Michael with their picks for consideration. I will definitely be emailing him when the time comes and I hope all of you will, too! The first two episodes have been awesome! I'm sure the episodes will only get better. Therefore, it will be very difficult to choose.

I was very excited when Michael said the awards would be back in 2009 because I am confident that The House Between will win this year!!!!!!!!!! ;D
