I just watched the episode. It was a thrill to get a "story by" credit. The details of the plot are, by necessity, different--the story I had planned was to take place in the second season during Vitality's breakdown. Now in season three, and in a new smart-house, the motivations for the switch are, of course, different. One thing that remained the same is the "Running Up That Hill" understanding that occurs between the characters as they feel what it is like to be in a body of the opposite sex, especially Bill and Theresa. In my original story Arlo was the only one who didn't switch as he was the 5th person in the group. Of course, with Brick now the 6th member of the group, this provided someone for Arlo to switch with. Another thing is the humor. John wrote some great lines for both Travis and Astrid! I laughed out loud more than a few times during this episode. I had always planned for Travis to "enjoy" the switch to Astrid's consternation. Kim's performance was hilarious! The actors all did a great job in playing each other's characters! I had always thought it would be an interesting challenge for them but I knew they could pull it off. Hats off to John for taking what was just a story idea and turning it into a fun and memorable episode. And to the actors for bringing it to life with humor and style. Everyone shined! I was also happy to hear the cues "War" used when the denizens attack Cronus, and "Oppenheimer Syndrome" during the desert sequence. Great job everyone! Mateo
