I've made some headway on the soundtrack to The House Between. I bought a new sound editing program and have already edited all but one track. I have decided to release 3 hrs of cues on a single MP3 CD. It won't be the complete score. That is because there were a number of alternate versions, SFX cues, and some--well, just embarrassing stuff. Besides, anybody who listens to all three hours of THB cues will already be bleeding from the ears! I have had THB medallions made. They feature the THB logo on either a black or white background. They can be hooked onto a key chain or worn on a chain (key ring and chain included) and will be given out as extras for those that buy the soundtrack CD. I have already selected and ordered the 134 cues for the album and arranged them by season. Kim has graciously agreed to design the CD label and inserts. I have included some cues written for THB but ultimately never used in the show. I dare you to figure out which ones they are. I may also include as a bonus track a piece of music called Out the House that I recorded the afternoon after sending John my final cue for THB. It's almost a dance track--meant to capture my happy mood at finally finishing up my work on the show. Hope you like it. If I can, I'll also make it available on iTunes.

Hey Mateo! I am so glad to hear that you finally have time to devote to getting The House Between cues out there. Glad, but sad because it means there won't be any more episodes to keep you busy. I have been waiting for this news since before Christmas! I can hardly wait. Thank you, again, for everything you did to make The House Between experience even more special.

As I wade through the tracks for the album, I keep finding little things that need fixing. I need to take out a bum note out of one cue and put a fade on another, etc. Getting close though. So faninawe, what is your favorite musical cue, if you don't mind me asking. For me, right now, it is the coda to Magical House, at the very end of Bill and Astrid's scene in RESOLVED. I think it worked really well. Unfortunately, the full cue is three minutes long, but the scene is much longer. I didn't have the final timing so I just guessed (wrong). But the final section and Kim and Tony's performance really meshed. Did anyone notice Kim's song incorporated into the piece (albeit in a rearranged fashion)? Mateo
